December Open Knowledge [Access] Interest Group

The TDL Open Knowledge [Access] Interest Group provides a community for exploring topics related to Open Access broadly interpreted to encompass the traditional definition of Open Access (free, online access to research outputs using open licenses) and the ways that the principles of OA intersect with other flavors of “open” (e.g. Open Science, Open Research, or Open Education).

The goal of the group is to create opportunities for learning and discussion on Open Access topics, and identify areas for collective action to advance Open Access. As a consortium providing a shared infrastructure enabling Open Access, the aims of this group are core to the mission of the Texas Digital Library.

The Open Knowledge [Access] Interest Group meets every first Wednesday of the month from 2-3 PM CST.

Participation is open to all.
