The TCDL 2026 Student Scholarship application is now closed. Thank you to all who applied! Selection notifications will be sent via email by May 4, 2026.
Students from Texas iSchool or LIS programs can apply for FREE registration to the 2026 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL)! Five (5) students will be selected and awarded complimentary registration to TCDL 2026.
Why should you apply?
Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) provides opportunities for professional development and networking within the digital library community in Texas and beyond. Meet and mingle with librarians, archivists, technology staff, vendors, library administrators, and others working in digital libraries from across the state.
Participation at TCDL will help you gain insight into new technology, trends, and practices related to the creation, promotion, and preservation of research, scholarship, and cultural heritage digital materials.
TCDL scholarships cover the cost of registration only. Recipients are responsible for their own travel and lodging for the conference. Learn more about special rates for hotels.

In addition, scholarship recipients will be required to do one of the following:

- Write a blog post for the TDL blog about your experience attending TCDL. This could be a reflection of your conference experience or a summary of a session that interested you.
- If you have another idea in lieu of a poster or blog post, you can propose it to us.
The TCDL student scholarship program is made possible by a generous anonymous donation from TDL members. Questions? Please email info@tdl.org.
