SUMMARY:Cross Timbers Library Collaborative Conference
DESCRIPTION:TDL will present at CTLC\, August 2\, 2019. \nBuilding a Coalition for Statewide OER Initiatives in Texas \nPresented by Lea DeForest\, Texas Digital Library and Phillip Anaya\, Alamo Colleges District \nThe Statewide OER Coordinating Committee is comprised of staff members from a variety of academic libraries in the state including community colleges\, ARLs\, and the Texas Digital Library consortium. The Committee is intended to “bridge the gap” between the OER Summit and a more formal coalition of institutional stakeholders that can act on the priorities set forth at the summit. Since January 2019\, the Committee has undertaken the writing of a white paper\, investigating further meeting opportunities\, and coalition-building and advocacy efforts.
