DESCRIPTION:Join Texas Digital Library members for an introductory look at accessibility practices for audio / visual materials in digital collections. \n\n\nTDL WEBINAR: Intro to Accessible AV \nWednesday\, March 30\, 2022 \n1pm – 230pm Central \nRegistration is required and open to anyone who is interested in joining us. \nClick here to register.  \nOnce you’ve registered\, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with a customized link to join and a calendar invitation to download. \n\nThis webinar\, the first part of a multi-part series\, will present the basics of improving the accessibility of digital audio and video collection materials hosted in archives’ and libraries’ digital repositories. During the 90-minute session\, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the many benefits—beyond simply satisfying legal requirements—of providing alternative media such as captions/transcripts and other accessibility remediations.
