Absolutely no prior GIS experience is required to fully participate in these webinars. \nWebinar #2: Researching Your Community with QGIS \nPresenters: Kate McNally Carter (University of Houston) and Joshua Been (Baylor University) \nIn this webinar\, you will learn how you can use open source GIS software to map and analyze features of your local community. Focusing on open data sources\, the presenters will walk through the process of locating\, loading\, and preparing data for analysis. Participants will also gain hands-on practice in analyzing a statewide database. No prior experience with GIS is required.
