DESCRIPTION:The Qualitative Data Repository (QDR) is one of the few data repositories in the world dedicated to the curation\, storage\, and dissemination of qualitative research data. Sebastian Karcher\, QDR’s associate director\, will provide a brief introduction to QDR and its operations. He will talk about the special challenges of curating qualitative data and discuss some of QDR’s strategies. He will also discuss some of QDR’s ongoing research on innovations in data sharing and research transparency such as Annotation for Transparent Inquiry (ATI) and the Working with Sensitive Research Data (WSRD) project.
