SUMMARY:Metadata Support Gathering
DESCRIPTION:View slides | video \nTDL wants to help you improve your metadata and make your collections more discoverable. Metadata is at the core of so many of the benefits that libraries and archives provide\, but working with metadata can sometimes feel challenging and isolating. This webinar will be a chance for our community to ask metadata questions\, share tips\, and get support from other metadata-minded folks. \nTDL’s DPLA Aggregation coordinator\, Elliot Williams\, will offer advice for creating metadata that can be shared across systems\, including with the Digital Public Library of America\, and tips for assessing metadata quality. Plus there will be lots of time for discussion\, commiseration\, and advice-sharing. \nRegistration is required. Click here to register. \nThis webinar will be recorded. Attendees will have the option to ask questions and share comments anonymously\, if desired. \nEVENT DETAILS\nMetadata Support Gathering with Texas Digital Library\nWednesday\, November 2\, 2022\n11:00am-12:00pm Central\nClick here to register.\nContact info@tdl.org if you have any questions or suggestions. \nImage credit: “Trapeze artists at the circus\, Indianapolis\, Indiana\, 1954”\, The Indiana Album\, J.
