Sponsorship

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2018 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) taking place May 15th – 17th in Austin, Texas.

The 2018 TCDL represents a significant opportunity to reach a community of leaders and practitioners engaged in the development, management, and application of digital library technologies and programs.

About the Conference

The Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) covers topics relevant to the creation, promotion, and preservation of research, scholarship, and cultural heritage digital materials. The goal of the TCDL is to bring together those working on library-related digital projects — including outreach librarians, repository managers, catalogers, technical staff, faculty, researchers, and others — in order to build a practical, usable, and sustainable model for digital libraries.

The 2018 TCDL will take place May 15th – 17th at the Commons Learning Center on the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin, Texas. The conference, now in its twelfth year, is organized by the Texas Digital Library, a consortium of academic libraries that provides shared services that enable digital programs in support of research, scholarship, and learning.

The conference represents a significant opportunity for organizations involved with digital libraries and other technologies, providing visibility statewide (and beyond), as well as access to a large community of potential collaborators, partners, and customers.

Who Will Participate

The conference will attract attendees from Texas and throughout the United States. Attendance at the conference increases each year and the Conference Planning Committee anticipates growth again in 2018, with an expected 200 registrants.

Participants may include:

  • Deans and Directors of academic libraries
  • Librarians engaged in archives, special collections, digital libraries, scholarly communication, data management, research, assessment, and technology
  • Technical staff responsible for library software
  • Management and policy setters
  • Applied researchers, students, and faculty interested in digital libraries, digital humanities, and similar fields
