TDL Welcomes New Member Texas Woman’s University

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Digital Library is pleased to welcome the Texas Woman’s University Libraries as its newest member.

Texas Woman’s University (TWU) is the largest public university in the nation primarily for women and has an enrollment of approximately 15,000 students on campuses in Denton, Dallas, Houston, and online. The TWU Libraries system is led by Suzanne Sears, dean of Libraries, and will be using the TDL to host The Repository@TWU institutional repository. The Repository@TWU is an archive of scholarly publications, creative works; and special collections that has been accessed by users from across the United States and more than 98 foreign countries.

“I am excited about partnering with Texas Digital Library to expand Texas Woman’s University Libraries resources for faculty and students engaged in digital scholarship and research,” Sears said.

The Texas Digital Library consortium currently includes 22 academic library members across the state of Texas. The TDL builds capacity for preserving, managing; and providing access to unique digital collections of enduring value.
